We are a fun, positive, and recreational dragon boat team with a bit of a competitive vibe. Our focus is to be inclusive and welcome all paddlers regardless of age, fitness level or dragon boat experience. We came together to practice and race to achieve realistic and collective goals. We care about improving our own performance every time, no matter where or who we are up against. Practices take place once a week on Thursdays at 7:30 pm from May to September at Outer Harbour in Toronto. We also organize social events throughout the year. Together, we can build a sense of belonging, inclusion and achievement. Please visit https://www.rustydragons.ca/teams/flying-dragons for more details on our program. Thanks for your interest!

SPEED Dragon Boat Club consists of two teams (SOS & SSB) and was formed in 2024. We have had one full season together however, most of us had paddled independently before joining SPEED. Although we are new, we improved significantly throughout the year and we plan on continuing that trend in 2025! We are a fun group that also organizes numerous social events throughout the year. We welcome paddlers from beginner to experienced who are looking for a social, but competitive team. We practice once a week at Balmy Beach Canoe Club on Tuesday evenings.

Paddlers Anonymous (PA) was founded in 2000 by three students from the University of Waterloo. It was originally created as a way for new friends to have fun and experience the sport of dragon boat racing over the course of one summer. Since then, PA has grown into a multi-team organization involving dynamic individuals from various Canadian universities and the Greater Toronto Area workforce. Are you looking for a sport that’s fun, challenging, and gets you on the water? Join DaCatch – a competitively focused recreational dragon boat team! We’re seeking a few more paddlers ready to learn and sharpen their skills, build strength, and push past limits.
